Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including floor care, vacuuming, and general cleaning tasks to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical agent handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and hotel emergency procedures. Ensure the correct use of cleaning equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety protocols to promote a safe working environment. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage. Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met, addressing any deficiencies promptly. Implement sanitation procedures aligned with health regulations and hotel policies to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction. Lead efforts in heavy lifting, manual handling, and other physical tasks required for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the property. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial experience within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and hotel housekeeping operations. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and chemical agents used in professional cleaning environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff toward common goals. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and compliance with health and safety regulations. Previous experience with hotel experience is highly preferred; certification in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
