Job Description

As the Executive Housekeeper at our family-friendly resort with an indoor waterpark and arcade, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our property. You will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management :
Lead and manage a team of housekeeping and environmental staff, including supervisors, room attendants and housepersons. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure that all team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
Standards and Procedures:
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas of the hotel and lobby. Regularly inspect all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
Inventory and Supplies:
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure adequate stock levels at all times. Coordinate with vendors to order supplies as needed and maintain cost-effective inventory management practices.
Quality Control :
Implement quality control measures to ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet or exceed cleanliness standards. Address any issues or concerns promptly and take corrective action as necessary to maintain guest satisfaction.
Guest Relations :
Foster a culture of hospitality and guest service excellence among housekeeping staff. Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, striving to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Health and Safety Compliance :
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and best practices. Implement and enforce proper cleaning and disinfection procedures to protect the health and well-being of guests and staff.
Budget Management :
Develop and manage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment expenses. Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining service quality.
Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping management at a large hotel or casino at a Sr. Manager or Director level. Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications
