You'll supervise staff, manage inventory, and uphold safety and brand standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on management style. As the department leader, you are expected to inspect guest rooms and public areas, guide and motivate staff, manage inventory and costs, enforce safety standards, and continuously seek improvements in processes and service quality. You are the eyes of the guest—ensuring that every detail reflects our commitment to cleanliness and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee housekeeping operations and team performance Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality to comply with brand standards Train, schedule, and manage team members as the leader of the housekeeping department Control the labor ensuring time-management and proper scheduling levels in accordance with occupancy Communicates effectively with other departments to support a seamless guest experience Ensures all guest requests involving the rooms are attended to and VIP arrivals properly serviced and set for arrival Maintain control of linen and supply inventory and housekeeping equipment Enforce OSHA safety standards, chemical labeling and emergency procedures Support laundry operations and guest satisfaction
Must-Haves:
2-3 years of housekeeping management experience Strong leadership and team development skills Familiarity with safety and OSHA compliance Computer proficiency (PMS, Microsoft Office)
Nice-to-Haves:
Hotel or brand franchise experience Bilingual (English/Spanish)
