Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Coordinates cleaning of all guest rooms on a daily basis and in a timely manner Inspects rooms upon housekeepers' completion to verify cleanliness and placement of amenities Communicates with front desk on completion of rooms for occupancy and enters updates into the computer Orders necessary supplies and assures proper inventory for smooth operation Room cleaning upon staffing shortage Scheduling of housekeepers and housekeeping maintenance as well as payroll for those employees Will perform employee evaluations and counseling with help from the Executive Housekeeper Will direct the training of new employees as well as the retraining of veteran employees regarding the implementation of new procedures and policies Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties Posts room occupancy records Addresses guest complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment Writes requisitions regarding housekeeping service, or equipment Reports needed for room redecoration to housekeepers Examines carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear Checks and counts linens and supplies Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies Makes sure rooms are clean and ready to be occupied Deliver items such as sundries and linens down the hallway to guest room upon request Will act as a liaison between the front desk and housekeeping staffs alongside the

Executive Housekeeper and Front Desk Supervisors Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

Basic computer knowledge, phone etiquette and hotel housekeeping experience Experience in customer service and hotel industry required Must be fluent in English. Spanish basics preferred Must have strong communication skills High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience 2 yrs hotel housekeeping with at least 1 year supervisory experience preferred Identification that establishes identity Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
