Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnel Regular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performance Maintain a high level of cleanliness & Safety throughout Facility grounds. Plan/coordinate work schedules and assign staff to established work areas & duties. Schedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairs Maintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections Assign equipment to staff; monitor daily equipment use, cleaning & maintenance. Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times. Follow Facility Guidelines and Departmental Policies/Procedures Infection Control Policies/Procedures Safety/Fire/Disaster/OSHA/Mutual Aid Planning Quality Assurance Practices NYSDOH Standards Strong stress management skills are required. Provide individual guidance & motivation to employees. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
