•4:00 PM Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service are provided throughout The Osborn community. This role supervises staff, manages schedules, conducts inspections, and ensures compliance with infection control and regulatory standards in a healthcare environment. As a leader within the Environmental Services team, the Housekeeping Supervisor promotes a culture of professionalism, quality, and exceptional customer service for residents, staff, and visitors. Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations & Supervision Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff and daily assignments Schedule and prioritize service requests and cleaning activities Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and quality standards Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available Staff Leadership & Development Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members Conduct new hire orientation and ongoing staff meetings Complete performance evaluations and assist with hiring decisions Foster a positive, collaborative work environment Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to infection control standards and universal precautions Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Identify and resolve safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly Resident & Customer Experience Interact with residents and staff in a professional and courteous manner Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all areas Respond promptly to service requests and concerns QualificationsRequired Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) strongly preferred Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience in healthcare, hospital, or similar setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage staff and work independently Experience using Workxhub software Module for house keeping. Preferred Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or environmental services Knowledge of infection control practices in healthcare settings Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull equipment as needed Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain stamina throughout the shift Why Join The Osborn?
