Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional custodial services, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining a high level of hygiene. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common spaces Handle special cleaning requests and report maintenance issues promptly Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment Ensure all assigned areas are maintained in a tidy and organized manner Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet extraction Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled shifts Ability to handle industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively Custodial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
