Full-time Job Summary Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency while maintaining Marriott brand standards. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service. Plan and assign daily work schedules for room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines. Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, linens, and guest amenities. Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests. Monitor staff productivity, attendance, and performance, and provide coaching and performance evaluations. Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and hotel safety policies. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new housekeeping associates. Prepare reports related to housekeeping operations, room status, and inventory. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hotel environment. Marriott housekeeping experience is preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and safety standards. Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
