This team member is crucial to our success working closely with the General Manager/AGM/MOD to ensure the property is running smoothly and both guests and employees are taken care of. The Head Housekeeper will manage the housekeeping staff ensuring that our guests receive a clean comfortable room. They will play an integral part in the training, performance management, and ongoing development of their team. The person selected for this role will have : Motel 6 experience a plus, preferably (not required) 2+ years of experience in a supervisory position - preferably in a fast food, retail or hospitality environment. Excellent communication skills, Bi-lingual preferred (not required) Exposure to managing a team Passion for customer service Strong ability to multitask and prioritize Problem identification and resolution skills Proven ability to coach and counsel team members Clean, dust, and polish to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.

This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
