The ideal candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, and a commitment to exceptional service quality. Prior hotel experience, hospitality background, or janitorial expertise is highly desirable. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial tasks. Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed. Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with health regulations. Address guest or client concerns promptly to uphold service excellence. Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate performance for continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping management within hotel, hospitality, or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, custodial practices, and janitorial procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively. Prior experience with hotel or hospitality operations is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial cleaning and custodial work. Relevant certifications or training in cleaning or hospitality management are a plus.
