About the Opportunity Scott Enterprises is seeking an experienced and hands-on Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operation of Comfort Inn. This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, guest readiness, efficiency, safety, and team performance. What You'll Do Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and common areas consistently meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards. Supervise the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and provide direction, support, and accountability as needed. Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff while identifying additional training needs. Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to promote a high-performing housekeeping team. Conduct quality inspections of guest rooms and ensure rooms are clean, properly stocked, and ready for guest arrival. Inspect rooms for readiness prior to check-in and address deficiencies promptly. Meet regularly with hotel management to review staffing, schedules, priorities, and outstanding tasks. Develop and maintain an effective system for ordering housekeeping supplies and monitoring inventory levels. Identify and report maintenance, custodial, or safety concerns to the appropriate department. Maintain knowledge of the hotel layout, including the locations of fire protection systems, electrical breakers, sprinkler shut-offs, and other critical equipment. Attend staff and management meetings and communicate important information to the housekeeping team. Promote a professional, positive, and service-focused work environment. Respond to the needs of management, employees, and guests in a timely and professional manner. Serve as a resource for housekeeping-related questions and operational needs. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous hotel housekeeping experience required. Leadership or supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of hotel cleanliness standards, housekeeping procedures, and quality-control practices. Working knowledge of cleaning products, general cleaning principles, and standard housekeeping equipment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Safety-conscious with the ability to recognize and address potential hazards. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and collaborate across departments. Ability to take direction from the General Manager while independently managing the day-to-day housekeeping operation. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Experience 3+ years of hands-on hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience in housekeeping is highly preferred. Why Join Scott Enterprises?
