Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our dedicated housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across our hotel property. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols, and motivate your team to maintain a welcoming environment for all guests. Your leadership will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of hotel housekeeping management, creating a positive experience for visitors and staff alike. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including guest rooms, public areas, exterior and laundry. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, and safety procedures Ensure rooms are cleaned within the timeframe set per room. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely replenishment Enforce safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and chemical handling to prevent accidents and injuries Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services, providing excellent customer service at all times Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or hospitality environment Demonstrated hotel housekeeping management skills with a strong understanding of hotel operations Experience handling cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor care machines, and other janitorial tools Knowledge of sanitation practices, hotel emergency procedures, and safety protocols in a hospitality setting Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely for extended periods Strong customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment where guests feel valued from the moment they walk through the door.
