Director of Housekeeping:
Oversee all housekeeping and environmental services operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, maintenance routines, and quality standards in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance, teamwork, and high-quality service delivery. Ensure compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Manage supply inventory for housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective use. Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and service excellence within the housekeeping department. Qualifications forDirector of Housekeeping:
3 years of general maintenance experience (including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.) required. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience is a plus. Basic understanding of computer use, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer, required. Knowledge of building equipment, building codes, and building systems required. Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for day, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts, preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and maintain high standards of facility appearance and safety.
