Full-Time (Some evenings, weekends, and holidays required) Position Summary Next Level Property Management is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations of our growing portfolio of short-term vacation rentals and long-term rental properties. This individual will lead and support our cleaning teams, perform quality inspections, coordinate turnovers, train new cleaners, and ensure every property consistently meets our high hospitality and cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys maintaining exceptional quality while motivating and managing cleaning staff. Responsibilities Team Leadership Supervise and support multiple cleaning crews. Schedule and coordinate daily cleaning assignments. Train new cleaning staff on company standards and procedures. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching. Maintain accountability for attendance, professionalism, and productivity. Assist with recruiting and onboarding new cleaning personnel. Quality Control Perform inspections before guest arrivals and after cleanings. Ensure all properties meet Next Level Property Management quality standards. Verify that linens, towels, and amenities are properly stocked. Identify maintenance issues and report them promptly. Ensure cleaners follow detailed cleaning checklists. Conduct periodic deep-clean inspections. Property Turnovers Coordinate same-day turnovers between guest check-outs and arrivals. Monitor cleaning timelines to ensure every property is guest-ready on schedule. Communicate with the operations team regarding delays or issues. Assist with emergency cleanings when necessary. Inventory Management Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment. Monitor linen inventory. Order supplies as needed. Track damaged or missing items. Organize supply storage areas. Long-Term Rental Responsibilities Coordinate move-in and move-out cleanings. Schedule deep cleans after tenant turnovers. Verify rental homes are ready for new occupants. Coordinate with maintenance vendors when additional work is needed.
Communication Maintain clear communication with:
Property Managers Maintenance Team Cleaning Staff Operations Team Document inspections with photos and notes. Use company software to manage schedules, inspections, and tasks. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning management experience preferred. Experience supervising employees. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Comfortable using smartphones and scheduling apps. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Skills Experience with Airbnb or vacation rental cleaning. Knowledge of hotel-quality cleaning standards. Inventory management experience. Basic maintenance knowledge. Leadership and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Walking multiple properties daily. Standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Carrying cleaning supplies and linens. Working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. What Success Looks Like Properties consistently receive 5-star cleanliness reviews. Turnovers are completed on time. Cleaning crews are properly trained and motivated. Inventory is maintained with minimal shortages. Quality inspections consistently meet company standards. Guest complaints related to cleanliness are minimized.
