Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper to work in our housekeeping department during the week and oversee the operations of our housekeeping team on weekends . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and industrial cleaning, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Candidates that are bilingual in Spanish/English are preferred. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of hotel room including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization Make beds Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replacing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by properly disposing of trash and disinfecting surfaces regularly Provide friendly customer service by addressing guests' requests promptly and professionally Manage cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing Work with housekeeping staff to ensure clean and comfortable rooms for guests Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Experience Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff and guests alike. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
