Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time management skills. Requires walking and standing most of the shift, with ability to bend, kneel, and twist. Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to clean and train staff. Must have a friendly and professional attitude with the ability to interact positively with guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a secure and safe environment for all employees and our guests. Monitor and ensure all guest requests are met. Effectively coordinate with engineering and front office staff daily for guest changes, needs, and room maintenance. Complete daily reports and paperwork as assigned. Enforce all company policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness standards in all guest rooms, common areas, etc. Perform room inspections daily. Assist in project management such as schedule for spring cleaning, pest control, etc. Ensure compliance with all lost and found procedures. Knowledge of incoming supplies and maintain guestroom inventory, linen and supply inventory, etc. Working knowledge of the laundry and inventory. Ability to lead employees ensuring they are performing up to standards set by the company. Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
