Housekeeping Supervisor/ Operations Lead | The Wayback — A Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property At The Wayback, the bold, vibrant experience our guests love depends on a property that works flawlessly behind the scenes. As Operations Lead, you are a key member of the operations team — stepping up to coordinate housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance activities, ensuring the property is always clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes genuine pride in keeping one of Pigeon Forge's most distinctive hotels running at its best. What You'll Do Property Operations & Standards Coordinate and complete all cleaning and maintenance activities across the property including routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, back of house, and laundry operations Ensure the proper appearance of the entire property from the entrance to the roof, including parking lot, walkways, landscaping, service areas, trash areas, and building exteriors Open and close rooms as required for maintenance needs Be knowledgeable of all room types and supply standards Read and stay current on front office communications logs on a daily basis Enforce all existing and new policies and procedures with housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff Monitor the appearance of all housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff to ensure compliance with company uniform policy Follow all AATMOS Hospitality and Marriott Tribute Portfolio safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures throughout each shift Guest Experience & Communication Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, always resolving with care and a commitment to superior service Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow associates at all times Inform the Operations Manager of any unique situations or unusual developments in housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance operations Maintain a working knowledge of all hotel operating procedures and the property management system Team Leadership & Support Indirectly supervise and ensure proper completion of all housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance duties on days when the Operations Manager is off Delegate responsibilities effectively and follow up to ensure completion and quality standards are met Exhibit strong leadership skills with a positive, supportive approach to team development Be willing and able to work any shift and fill in when team members are unable to work their scheduled shift What We're Looking For Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year housekeeping supervisor/inspector experience required Skills & Abilities Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Well-groomed and professional in appearance with a warm, courteous demeanor toward guests and associates alike Physical & Schedule Requirements Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be willing and able to work any shift as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout each shift Benefits & Perks Medical insurance Discounted vision and dental insurance Employee hotel travel program with discounted rooms across the AATMOS portfolio Marriott employee travel program Paid time off, vacation pay, and sick pay ZayZoon daily pay — access your earned wages when you need them Opportunities for career growth within a growing hospitality group At AATMOS Hospitality, we're committed to a positive, inclusive workplace where passionate hospitality professionals can thrive and grow.
