The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for inspecting completed guest rooms before they are released for occupancy, identifying and correcting cleanliness or maintenance deficiencies, and working directly with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure issues are resolved promptly. Responsibilities Inspect cleaned guest rooms for cleanliness, condition, and proper setup before releasing rooms for guests Check bedding, linens, bathrooms, floors, furniture, fixtures, amenities, and other room details Identify stained or damaged linens and ensure they are replaced Report maintenance deficiencies and follow up to ensure repairs are completed Communicate deficiencies to room attendants and verify corrections Assist with assigning rooms and coordinating daily housekeeping operations Monitor housekeeping productivity and room status throughout the shift Inspect public areas and other hotel spaces as needed Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and report shortages Assist with cleaning rooms when operationally necessary Ensure IHG and hotel cleanliness standards are consistently followed Communicate professionally with guests and other departments Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or housekeeping inspection experience preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance deficiencies Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to provide direction and hold team members accountable Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical duties throughout the shift Weekend and holiday availability required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in presenting clean, guest-ready rooms and understands that a room should not be released until it meets standard . The ideal candidate is thorough, dependable, comfortable providing feedback to housekeeping staff, and willing to take ownership of room quality. Experience in IHG or another major hotel brand is a plus, but not required.

Pay:
