Location The Sinclair - 40 - Rooms About the opportunity The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This role supervises housekeeping staff, conducts inspections, supports training efforts, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety regulations. What you'll get to do Assist the Director of Housekeeping in their absence to facilitate all aspects of daily housekeeping operations and provide feedback on staff performance Assign work to room attendants and support staff according to staffing guides and occupancy levels Ensure the facility is attractive and clean for guests in rooms and all public areas Monitor the progress of housekeeping associates to ensure they are adequately trained and meeting cleaning standards Coordinate daily special cleaning projects for room attendants and inspectors Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required Proficient computer skills, with experience with Word and Excel being a plus Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience is required Strong guest service aptitude with a positive attitude is necessary Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Ability to wear required personal protective equipment per job responsibilities Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
