Job Description

As a Regional Director of Environmental Services , you are responsible for directing and leading all aspects of the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the Assistant Directors and Operations Managers and will serve as a liaison between administration and EVS departments. The Regional Director of EVS requires frequent travel to lower DFW area facilities to conduct inspections, trainings, and offer addional support.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for department's financial data and statistics Monitoring of unit expenditures Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments Actively communicates with administration and other departments Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department Establishes work standards and work flow Establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations Encourages and mentors staff creativity and innovation Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies Proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectives Demonstrates quality leadership in meeting performance plans Reads, develops, and administers Total Quality Management process Develops and maintains job descriptions for department staff Encourages staff to participate in education programs Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning and sanitation within environmental services Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations Background in janitorial or custodial roles, preferably in hospital settings Expertise in floor care and commercial cleaning techniques Ability to manage and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent required 2 years of EVS managment required Valid Driver's License and Pass Background check
