Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance operations within our property. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Bilingual candidates are preferred to effectively communicate with diverse team members and guests. This role requires a strong sense of accountability, leadership skills, and the ability to grow and develop a motivated housekeeping team. Duties Utilize Hyatt's B.O.B. tools to set up cleaning boards, assign tasks, and monitor daily housekeeping operations. Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness standards are met or exceeded. Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and responsibilities. Alert Engineering or relevant departments of any maintenance issues identified during inspections or daily operations. Take ownership of the housekeeping department by fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Lead, train, and develop housekeeping staff to uphold service excellence and operational standards. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock management. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all housekeeping activities. Experience Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong familiarity with hotel cleaning procedures, standards, and operational tools such as Hyatt's B.O.B. system or equivalent management software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create efficient schedules and workflows. Bilingual proficiency is preferred to facilitate effective communication with diverse teams and guests. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on taking ownership, accountability, and team development. Ability to inspect work quality meticulously and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
