Overview The Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the establishment. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Executive Housekeeper will manage a team of housekeepers, implement cleaning protocols, and uphold the hospitality standards that enhance guest satisfaction. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel or facility. Stay updated on industry trends in housekeeping management, including new cleaning technologies and methods. Skills Strong background in industrial cleaning practices within a hotel or hospitality setting. Proven experience in housekeeping management with a focus on quality control and team leadership. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices to maintain various types of flooring. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact positively with staff, guests, and management. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
