•$38.16 per hour Job Description The Environmental Service Supervisor (ESS) has the primary responsibility for supervising housekeeping activities. The ESS is responsible for insuring safety and sanitation throughout the facility. Maintaining quality control functions and compliance with Town, State and OSHA Federal Register Rules and Regulations, Porter Medical Center Infection Control P&P and Housekeeping, Laundry Department P&P . The ESS is expected to work collaboratively with department manager, support staff and other department personnel as required. Qualifications High graduate or GED. Knowledge of institutional housekeeping techniques with at least three years of experience, supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies. Ability to maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation. CHEST certification
• Ability to maintain confidentially and good public relations. Demonstrates ability to provide clear expectations to department personnel. Displays professional appearance and attitude. Ability to work with management members.
