Develop, monitor, and communicate staffing schedules, and make daily adjustments as necessary. Responsible for preparation and oversight of the environmental services department operating budget. Provides adequate levels of staff to ensure a safe, clean, and sterile hospital environment. Resolves conflicts, mediates, and ensures compliance with facility policies by employees and medical staff. Stay updated on industry best practices, new cleaning techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve housekeeping operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of recent healthcare environmental services experience preferably in a hospital setting 1+ years of EVS management or supervisory experience preferably in a hospital setting Strong knowledge of infection prevention and chemical safety guidelines.
