One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team!
Job Summary:
The PM Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the evening housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. This role supports day operations while preparing the property for the same day and next day's arrivals, maintaining luxury-level service, efficiency, and team performance.Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range:
starting $27.00 per hour The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.Shift & Schedule Availability:
Full-time year-round position Typically, 2:00pm-10:00pm but subject to change based on occupancy. Weekends and holidays are requiredJob Responsibilities:
Supervise all PM Housekeeping activities Room refresh (turndown where applicable.) Late stayover services Public area cleaning Reporting Lost and found Maintain a significant level of guest contact, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met properly and professionally. Conduct thorough room inspections to guarantee the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently met. Train new housekeeping team members, conduct regular performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team. Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, ensure adequate stock levels and efficient use of resources. Implement and enforce cleaning protocols to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Ensure all service requests are completed promptly (e.g. amenities, linens, extra linens.) Assign tasks and adjust workload based on occupancy and priorities. Conduct shift briefings, arrivals/departures, VIP guests, special requests, etc. Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback. Ensure team follows safety and security procedures. Monitor housekeeping supplies and linens during PM shift.Job Requirements:
Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Knowledge of PMS system (OPERA Cloud preferred.)
