INSPECTOR

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to join our team. The Housekeeping Inspector coordinates daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure guest rooms and other specified areas exhibit a clean and orderly condition, and that all standards and procedures are being followed. They conduct inspections of rooms, recommend repairs, and upgrades when needed to provide a special touch to ensure every room is guest-ready.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:

Housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures.

Skills and Ability to:

Successfully lead and motivate staff Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary tools and equipment and perform required duties. Work independently and manage one's time in order to meet productivity standards. Maintain a neat and clean appearance to meet hotel standards and represent the hotel positively. Communicate effectively with guests and staff both verbally and in writing to receive and convey information. Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays. Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, a minimum of three years of housekeeping experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Medium Work:

Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to hear, stand, stoop, bend, climb, balance, lift, carry, crouch, kneel, and have a keen sense of visual acuity. Position requires occasional pushing and pulling of carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs., ability to exert well-paced mobility for extended periods and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.

Variable schedule; Must be available weekends and holidays

RATE OF PAY

$20.96 to $22.71 per hour/DOE
