In this vital role, you will oversee the quality of housekeeping services, ensure compliance with sanitation regulations, and supervise cleaning staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences or maintain pristine environments. Your leadership will drive team performance, promote safety protocols, and elevate our service standards through meticulous inspections and effective management. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to safety regulations. Supervise housekeeping staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to ensure efficient operations. Develop and implement cleaning & sanitation management procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all cleaning activities, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Coordinate with management to schedule cleaning routines for industrial and commercial cleaning projects, including laundry services when applicable. Maintain detailed records of inspections, staff performance, safety incidents, and sanitation compliance. Promote a culture of teamwork, leadership, and customer service excellence among housekeeping personnel. Skills Extensive experience in cleaning and inspecting within hospitality or commercial environments. Proven staff supervision and team management skills with a focus on leadership development. Strong knowledge of hotel standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices. Experience in hotel cleaning techniques and managing large-scale or specialized cleaning projects. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with other departments. Customer service orientation with the ability to address guest or client concerns professionally. Demonstrated ability to oversee laundry operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in hospitality settings. Ability to enforce safety protocols rigorously while maintaining a positive team environment. Ability to assist the department in cleaning room, laundry and houseman duties when needed.
