Job Description

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Manager (1.0 FTE). The Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing hourly staff. This position is approximately 50% working staff member and 50% managerial. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 3+ years of environmental services experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of management experience
Other Qualifications:
Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible working 1st or 2nd shift to support staff and fill in as needed Proven excellence in customer service Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility Ability to clearly and effectively convey information to individuals or groups, including ability to choose the appropriate method or methods of communication Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment Exhibit an independent drive and demonstrated ability to lead change
