Full Job Description Executive Housekeeper:
GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED HOUSEKEEPER LOOKING FOR WORK THAT PROVIDES WEEKLY PAY, REFERRAL BONUS, TRAVEL REWARDS, AND BENEFITS
The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of the management team at the hotel, responsible for working alongside of the General Manager on all Housekeeping and Laundry Operations and for assuming leadership their department. Essential Job Duties Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards). Monitor and direct all Housekeeping, Houseman and Laundry personnel. Inspect all rooms daily. Make the schedules for housekeeping, houseman, and laundry. The General Manager will approve schedules weekly. Balance and clear the room status nightly, comparing the PM Housekeeping Report with the computer's room status report and resolve all discrepancies. Train all Housekeeping personnel to perform their duties to standards. Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees. Ordering supplies for the department while keeping within budget. The budget will be provided by the General Manager. Conducting monthly inventories of department and guest supplies. Conducting interviews for open positions, handling employee complaints & grievances, disciplining employees, and appraising employees. Conduct daily morning meetings with staff. Conduct daily walk through with General Manager and Property Engineer.
