Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team with energy, precision, and a passion for excellence. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning, sanitation, and custodial operations across our facility, ensuring a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and guests alike. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards in timely manner as per Wyndham Standard. Manage the day-to-day operations of rooms assignments, guestrooms and property inspections. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, equipment use, and customer service excellence. Interview, hire, train, schedule and coach employees. Participate in monthly staff meetings with entire housekeeping staff to communicate, update and listen to staff concerns or input and update on brand standard updates and cleaning process. establishing and maintaining a regularly scheduled deep cleaning program. Check unoccupied rooms to ensure that they are guest ready. Report all discrepancies to Manager. Maintaining inventories of amenities, chemicals and other supplies to ensure items are in stock and reordered in a timely manner. Record lost and found articles and secure them in the proper area. Supervise and conduct daily detailed inspection of guest rooms, public areas and back of the house. Ensure compliance with hotel's standard of excellence, health, sanitation standards and regulations, to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Conduct guest room inspections to recommend any repairs, painting and furnishing upgrades necessary and follow up on maintenance issues with Maintenance Team. Help housekeeping staff for removing dirty linens and cleaning rooms if needed. Wash, Dry and Fold Laundry when needed. Perform other functions as required and directed. Experience Extensive knowledge of cleaning methods including industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high morale. Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards. Experience managing janitorial supplies inventory, laundry operations, and sanitation management systems. Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and motivate staff toward shared goals. Prior experience in customer service-oriented roles that emphasize professionalism and attention to detail in cleanliness standards.
