Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction for hotel guests. In this vital role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintain a welcoming environment for all visitors and residents. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to excellence, efficiency, and professionalism, creating a spotless and safe environment that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks. Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and customer service standards. Monitor cleaning quality to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols, industrial cleaning standards, and hospitality requirements. Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational needs while maintaining high service levels. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and other facilities to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and proper disposal of waste in compliance with environmental regulations. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and recognition of staff achievements. Skills Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Strong supervisory skills with previous experience in team management and staff supervision. Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management techniques. Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate with other departments. Ability to handle industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in housekeeping operations.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
