Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring they meet our high standards of hospitality excellence. Your leadership will help maintain a pristine environment that delights guests and supports our commitment to superior service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, uphold sanitation and safety regulations, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards. Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient cleaning processes and high-quality results. Identify areas needing improvement or repair and coordinate with maintenance teams for prompt resolution. Enforce sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring all cleaning procedures comply with industry standards and legal requirements.. Train new staff on cleaning techniques, sanitation protocols, and customer service expectations. Document inspection findings accurately, prepare reports, and communicate issues effectively to management. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Supervising or team management experience in a cleaning or janitorial environment. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively. Exceptional communication skills suited for managerial interactions with team members and other departments. Familiarity with laundry operations, industrial cleaning equipment, and custodial best practices. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence within a hospitality setting. Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
