A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

  • $19 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Qualifications Sweeping Safety data sheet (SDS) reading Sanitation Mops Mid-level Waste collection Restroom cleaning Chemical safety protocols Full Job Description Cleaning Tech Anchorage Area Full Time Daily maintain and clean offices, lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms and other work areas by emptying trash cans and collecting recyclables, dusting, sweeping and mopping.
Janitorial work schedules are 2nd shift and are typically from 6pm to 10pm, Sunday through Thursday. Average hours are between 15 to 32 each week dependent on determined building requirements.
