Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas during night shifts. Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to ensure floors are spotless and well-cared for. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols. Conduct heavy lifting tasks with safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by performing detailed custodial tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and trash removal. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Assist with minor maintenance tasks or facilities upkeep to support overall building maintenance efforts. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures. Experience handling cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and facility users when necessary.
