Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across different environments, including dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning windows. Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and efficiently. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms. Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by applying appropriate cleaning detergents and techniques. Conduct outdoor cleaning tasks like sweeping walkways, trash removal, and maintaining outdoor furniture or fixtures. Manage manual handling of heavy items such as furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or concerns to ensure satisfaction. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules without compromising quality. Follow all janitorial and custodial procedures to uphold health standards and safety regulations. Qualifications Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures along with familiarity with various cleaning detergents and equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely. Experience in floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and carpet cleaning methods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in different weather conditions. Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout your shift. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, or lifting heavy items as needed.
