Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in both commercial and residential settings. Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed to ensure cleanliness and safety. Carry out custodial tasks such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with facility maintenance tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness. Must pass background check Have reliable transportation Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and floor care techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods will be beneficial for this role. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
