Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all areas spotless. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely following established safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without hazards.. Follow strict safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Support additional custodial or maintenance tasks as needed, including industrial cleaning or residential painting projects. Areas include restrooms, office, manufacturing floor, kitchenand other areas as assigned or needed in relations to the janitorial needs. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools effectively. Physical capability for lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Customer service skills are a plus for engaging positively with staff and visitors when necessary.
