Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others. Conduct custodial duties including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and sanitation of surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Maintain and operate various cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for safe handling and operation. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep. Follow safety procedures diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and promote a safe workspace. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent cleanliness and sanitation across all areas, providing excellent customer service by addressing facility needs promptly. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment, including floor buffers and other custodial tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
