Custodian

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all parents and children. This role is essential to the overall upkeep of our spaces, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness. Conduct commercial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitary. Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as required to uphold facility standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols while adhering to safety guidelines. Experience Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
