Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Short-Term Rental Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rental properties are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared to the highest standards for incoming guests. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help create a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced hospitality setting, maintaining cleanliness and safety across multiple properties while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of rental units, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas, following established procedures. Execute floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to maintain hygiene standards. Implement proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or appliances to prevent injury. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly. Communicate professionally with clients and property managers to confirm readiness and address any special requests or concerns. Requirements Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and janitorial tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments when necessary. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Experience with housekeeper management or custodial roles is a plus but not required.
