A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter / Make-Ready Technician to help keep our apartment community looking its best while preparing homes for new residents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. Every day is different, and your work has a direct impact on the experience our residents have when they choose to call our community home. What You'll Do Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and light repairs Maintain the overall curb appeal and cleanliness of the community Pick up trash and debris throughout the property Clean breezeways, amenity areas, parking lots, and common spaces Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects Perform pressure washing, light painting, and general maintenance tasks Support the maintenance team with basic repairs and preventative maintenance Report safety concerns or maintenance issues to the management team Help ensure the community is always clean, safe, and welcoming What We're Looking For Previous porter, groundskeeper, make-ready, janitorial, or apartment maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of painting, cleaning, and minor repairs Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Why You'll Love Working With Us Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement into Maintenance Technician positions Supportive team environment Stable, full-time employment with a growing multifamily management company Whether you're an experienced Make-Ready Technician or someone with strong maintenance or construction experience looking to grow your career in multifamily housing, we'd love to hear from you.
