• Sunday (paid for 40 hours) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, waste removal, and restocking supplies as needed Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support the overall cleanliness of the premises Follow safety guidelines during industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers is highly desirable Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures Knowledge of sanitation standards and facilities maintenance practices Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices Previous porter experience or residential painting background is a plus but not required Join us in creating a clean, safe environment where everyone can thrive!
