Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire facility and is responsible for the food safety and quality of the products. Full cleaning of facility

• dry pick up of all meat chunks and trash on the floors (ensure to throw away in appropriate bins)
• rinse down all equipment, machines, tables, tools
• after Mgr inspects areas and approves Full sanitation of areas required
• restock all areas listed above.

MUST BE CLEAN ENOUGH TO PASS NECESSARY INSPECTIONS.

Workers required to work in 3 different temp zones between freezer, cooler, and dry area Disposes of boxes in compactor, empties/picks-up trash throughout facility and outside around the plant, sweeps/mops/squeegees floors where and when needed, wipes condensation where and when needed, handles disposal of inedible product on the property, cleans break rooms (sanitize tables, chairs, counter top, and microwaves, etc.) Restocks production supplies (hairnets, aprons, sleeves, gloves, etc.), restocks restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.), reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, etc.) Gives a written reports of unsafe conditions or unsafe acts to management

Education/Experience:

1 year of Sanitation experience required. 1 year of Warehouse experience required. Experience working in a warehouse environment around equipment/heavy machinery HS Diploma or GED required (Sanitation, Janitor, Custodian, Warehouse, General Labor, Laborer, Janitorial, Cleaner, Custodial, Cleaning, Cleaning Services, Hygiene, Hygiene Maintenance, Facility Maintenance) #
