Jefferson Regional Environmental Services Department Job Summary:
The Team Lead of Environmental Services is responsible for the supervision and monitoring of Environmental Technicians in patient's room, ancillary areas, and public facilities. This role is responsible for making sure assignments and calls are completed during the day.
Team Lead- EVS Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred This is a safety sensitive position.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital Must be familiar with and understand all functions that are delegated to ES Tech I, II, and Floor care Specialist positions Capability to motivate, mentor, and train staff Excellent leadership and team management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, ideally in environmental services or other related field preferred Proven experience in supervisory or management role, overseeing staff and operations Proficiency in housekeeping equipment and cleaning products preferred Familiarity with relevant software for managing schedules, inventory, and reporting preferred
