Job Description
Part time only 10-15 hours a week Expectations Must have a good transportation, a working phone to clock in and out on, must be dependable and punctual. Pass a background check and drug test. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, ensuring that our environment remains hygienic, organized, and welcoming. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and safe workspace in a professional setting, supporting the overall operations of our organization. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or large areas as needed. Assist with custodial duties related to residential or commercial properties, including trash removal and surface sanitization. Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing and other floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetics. Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed for facilities maintenance. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures is desirable. Previous work involving facilities maintenance or porter duties will be considered a plus. This position requires a reliable individual committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
