What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

What You'll Do As a Facilities Custodian, you'll play a key role in creating and maintaining a facility that is always "Tour Ready, Audit Ready." Responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitizing breakrooms, restrooms, office areas, and handwashing stations Emptying trash, recycling, and biohazard containers Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers to support facility cleanliness and micro-control efforts Ordering and restocking cleaning supplies Assisting and providing guidance to contracted cleaning crews Completing daily task lists and documenting completed work Utilizing maintenance software to manage and complete work orders Supporting a safe, clean, and efficient workplace for all associates What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED At least one year of work experience Strong attendance and reliability Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to read chemical labels and safety information Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Willingness to work overtime when needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Comfortable working in office areas, production environments, and outdoors as needed Why Rockline?
