Job Overview The RV Park Janitor is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across all interior spaces, exterior perimeters, and shared service areas of the Sycamore Lodge RV Park in Bagdad, AZ. This role includes exterior upkeep in all weather conditions at the RV Park. This role will evolve over time as the project progresses. As camp operations expand, responsibilities may transition into a broader Lodge and RV Park Janitor function, with duties adapting to meet changing operational and guest service needs. Duties Ensuring the general upkeep of the external property in all seasons and cleaning pathways Safely operating hand-held equipment and tools used in maintaining the grounds Clean building exteriors and report damage to Maintenance for repairs Organize and maintain janitorial supplies and consumables Sweep, scrub, strip, wax, polish, and shampoo floors and carpets as scheduled Maintain equipment in safe working condition and report issues promptly Replenish washroom supplies, chemical supplies and consumables Ensure cleanliness of loading docks, service corridors, and internal storage areas in compliance with housekeeping standards Empty internal and external waste bins and transport garbage to designated disposal areas Ensure garbage rooms, bins, and enclosures remain clean, organized, and compliant Support scheduled and unscheduled garbage pickups as required Adhere to all government regulations and ATCO Frontec Health & Safety policies Use chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to training Report hazards, spills, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately Maintain compliance with sanitation and housekeeping standards across all assigned areas Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding priorities and supply needs Perform other duties as assigned to support the RV Park Qualifications Experience in safely operating and performing routine care of commercial cleaning equipment is an asset OSHA 10 is required. Complete site-specific safety training and task-specific training before performing work. Be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision; Have the ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime. 1 year industrial or commercial cleaning Experience in an RV Park or campground is preferred Valid Class D Driver's License Ability to operate floor care and carpet cleaning equipment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Basic computer skills and ability to complete online training Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test Must be able to clear a criminal background check

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
