Janitorial Worker Job Description We are seeking dedicated janitorial workers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout a coworking space and outdoor mall. This entry-level position requires comfort with washing dishes and using a broom and dustpan. Responsibilities + Maintain cleanliness in a coworking space and wash dishes. + Empty waste bins throughout the mall, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly. + Sweep walkways, common areas, and entrances; remove debris and litter from outdoor spaces. + Check bathrooms for restocking and report any issues to the permanent staff. Essential Skills + Proficiency in cleaning, sweeping, dishwashing, and waste disposal. + Ability to maintain coworking spaces and public outdoor mall areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications + At least six months of cleaning or janitorial experience. Why Work Here? This role offers the opportunity for growth within the team. If you perform well, you will be transitioned to the mall team to service the entire property. Work Environment You will work outdoors, maintaining the exterior of shopping areas. Initially, you will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 2:30 PM. Eventually, this will transition to 40 hours per week, with schedules varying between Monday-Friday (1:30 PM-10 PM) and Tuesday-Friday (1:30 PM-10 PM) plus Saturday (7 AM-3:30 PM). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gilbert, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50
