MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy environment. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities. Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial duties such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and surface disinfecting. Operate commercial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocol guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Support general facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Provide excellent customer service by responding professionally to inquiries or requests from staff or visitors regarding cleanliness or facility needs. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques. Skilled in the safe handling and application of chemical agents used for sanitation purposes. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, scrubbers, and other custodial tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices to prevent injury. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and general facility maintenance. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors.
