They will perform routine and special cleaning of facilities to ensure they are clean, sanitary and in an orderly condition. In addition to an assigned zone, they will work independently or in a small group to complete specialty projects as needed. Essential Functions 30%- Sweeps, mops, waxes and vacuums floors/carpets (must be able to operate equipment such as buffer, auto-scrubbers and burnishers) 25%
- Cleans classrooms, common areas, restrooms, locker rooms and equipment; washes walls, windows, vents and lighting fixtures 20%
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures; empties trash for classrooms and common areas 15%
- Performs assigned tasks in response to requests and complaints; keeps assigned tools and/or equipment in clean and safe working condition 10%
- Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Completion of formal or informal education or experience which assures the ability to read, write, and speak at a level sufficient for the successful completion of the job duties as described.
